    Understanding the conditions in which women find themselves in the labor market is a fundamental part of determining the process in which a society is achieving gender equality, since the female gender is the most vulnerable to poverty, despite Advances in the last three decades in the integration of women in the labor market, not forgetting that there is a diversification of their division in the labor force, so there continue to be wage gaps, work segmentation; Especially with regard to the sexual differentiation of work, so the research project aims to diagnose the gender perspective discrimination against women to determine the participation in the labor market of students of the Faculty of Accounting and Audit of the Technical University of Ambato. The data are obtained through a survey carried out to the students of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing of the Technical University of Ambato in October of 2016, having a documentary bibliographical methodology, with the field research modality (survey), with a Orientation towards positivist observation
