    This research was carried out in the Quero canton, Tungurahua Province, with a population of 25 children from 2 to 3 years old, who attend the type C Quero health center, in which, it is intended to establish whether the method of Rood influences the psychomotor development of children, for this an initial evaluation pre-test, with the TEPSI test, was performed to determine the level of psychomotor development, after knowing the difficulties that each child has. which refers to the areas of coordination, language and motor skills, the application techniques of Rood such as brushing, tapping, vibration, cold stimulation and muscle stretching was carried out at the beginning of each early stimulation session to improve motor, language, social and cognitive skills, to check whether the method influenced the psychomotor development, a final evaluation was carried out, that is, a post-test, identifying whether or not there was improvement in the skills of each boy or girl. It was concluded through the application of the instruments and the statistical process that the Rood method influences the psychomotor development of children.
