    La ilustración como instrumento en el reconocimiento de los mitos y leyendas de los pueblos Precolombinos del Ecuador, en los niños de VI año de educación básica

    The present research is related with the study of the illustration for the recognition of Pre - Columbian myths and legends of Ecuador, focused on strengthening the cultural and mystical aspect of our ancestors and projecting it to the new generations. At present, the study of ancestral or Pre-Columbian cultures is analyzed in the sixth year of general basic education of the educational units in general, so it’s the proposal to integrate and incentive to students reading, improve the process of Teaching-learning with teaching material and developing the imagination. For the realization of the illustrations it was necessary the collaboration of renowned illustrators with the tray in projects of children's drawings, in which Mr. Israel Pardo, independent artist and illustrator, Andrés Medina, freelance and Diego Lara, graphic artist and designer, who through of his advice and experiences made possible the development of visual pieces, likewise the study of myths and legends is an issue that’s generally difficult to collect information, in effect to validate the study proposal consists with the participation of Mr. Luis Jácome Guerrero director of the central collective Dogma. Finally, through the validation and presentation of the proposal with the sample of the target audience, it was possible to generate interest in knowing about our culture, to strengthen the knowledge in the area of social studies and to promote illustration or drawing as a source of communication, with these antecedents are expected to lay the foundations for the present investigation to have a general reach to all the institutions in Ambato city.
