This experimental work aims to find correlations between the CBR and the index and mechanical properties of granular soils belonging to the parishes of San Bartolomé de Pinllo and Constantino Fernández. To begin with the sample collection process, three representative roads of each parish under study were selected. Subsequently, in each route two points were located where the field tests were to be carried out and in turn, the extraction of soil sample for the respective laboratory tests. A total of 12 samples of approximately 50 kg were taken for the soil study. Once the field and laboratory tests were completed, the results were analyzed and interpreted to classify and identify the type of soil. To obtain the correlations, statistical processes such as regression and correlation analysis were applied through the least squares methodology to determine a correlation coefficient greater than 50 percent to validate the correlation between the properties. Finally, 25 correlations were obtained with a correlation coefficient R2 ranging from 55 percent to 95 percent. In this way it is affirmed that if it is possible to obtain a property based on another property of the land.
