    Análisis de los estereotipos laborales de las y los presentadores de los programas deportivos televisivos nacionales y regionales y su percepción en los estudiantes de la Carrera de Comunicación Social de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato

    This research aims to analyze the stereotypes of work existing in national and regional television sports programs and the opinion of the students of the Social Communication Career about them, for which a methodology of quantitative approach, where a survey with closed questions was applied to all the students of the mentioned race. We further explored the subject in depth and correlated the variables to determine their cause and effect. Then, according to the results obtained, it can be said that the students perceive the existence of stereotypes of both beauty and experience in females and males, respectively, in the sports programming of the audiovisual media, which demonstrates the gender inequality, discrimination to professionals, violation of the Organic Law of Communication and gives at the same time, results such as academic desertions, high unemployment rates, programs with banal contents and the devaluation of the career. Therefore, the proposal is addressed to the 233 students of the Career of Social Communication, in order to raise awareness, raise awareness, motivate and value third-level studies in order to have more job opportunities, less unemployment rates and above all, to be able to provide television programs with quality content.
