The method used was a qualitative approach, which facilitates the study and understanding of the behavior and reality of the phenomenon being studied. The approach was based on an exploratory scope and documentary bibliographic research, which was theoretically supported. Thus, the two variables are described and related. To collect information, two techniques and their respective instruments were applied, which were validated by experts in the field. The first technique was an open-ended interview directed at Early Childhood Education teachers; the second technique was observation, using an observation sheet with indicators and a measurement scale (Beginning, In Process, and Acquired), focused on 20 children from the "Honduras" Educational Unit.
