    In this research the study of the determination of the bearing capacity of the soil and the impact on the foundations of houses in the town of Canton Patate was performed, using structural analysis software structural design programs to determine the relationship you have the bearing capacity of the soil with the foundation, with which the respective soil mechanics study was performed to determine the mechanical properties of the soil in the study site. The parameters for modeling and analysis the current Nec 2015 standard was implemented in Ecuador than it is concluded that the design is modeled on an intermediate floor of the coefficient of ballast this ratio allows for settlements to requests from a deformable foundation in a typical problem interaction soil - structure. The foundation was analyzed with standards for strength tests, methods of obtaining results, observations in each zone and thus verify the stability parameters of the building under consideration.
