    The following research is focused on "The symbolic play in social development 3 to 4 years in the Child Development Center" Dawn Children "of the Canton Pelileo since there are educational centers that are not based on learning games so that children can To acquire their social development, taking into account that it is not something new. And that it is very important to include it in schools. The symbolic game was executed in boys and girls from 3 to 5 years of age, where as a general objective it is proposed: To determine the contribution of the symbolic game in social development in children from 3 to 4 years in the Child Development Center " Childhood Dawn "of Canton Pelileo, the specific objectives: To evaluate the deficit of children in social development through the test Nelson Ortiz, Compare the process of social development in children from 3 to 4 years, Verify the influence of symbolic play in development In children aged 3 to 4 years. Thirty boys and girls will be taken from the school. The symbolic game tries to realize different kinds of activities with the children of which it allows them to develop their motor activities, grouping of the infants, imagination, through different kinds of games that the boys can realize. By means of this research work it can be concluded that the Nelson Ortiz test, the plan to improve social development in boys and girls from 3 to 4 years old when performing repetitions of different types of play, showed that there is an improvement in their quality of Life of the infant.
