The objective of this investigation was to determine the development of the coordinating abilities of children among 5 to 7 years old with the practice of tae kwon do in the academy of martial arts in Ambato city. Fifteen participants that practice the sport in the academy were involved in this investigation, they achieved good results; their movements and the ability to coordate were better than before they practice tae kwon do.
