The family as a source of support was a fundamental factor for mom's cancer, so different strategies were sought to strengthen the bonds of love and communication that patients need after undergoing chemotherapy treatment and coping with the disease; Unfortunately, this type of support is very fragmented because patients experienced alterations in their daily lifestyle (eating habits, customs), which have an impact on the family environment when the patient lives with a diary. To check if the family influences the recovery of patients with breast cancer in the treatment of chemotherapy at the Dr. Julio Enrique Paredes Cancer Hospital, it is reported through the application of surveys to family and cancer patients of the mother, affirming that the family is a primordial element in the recovery of the patient.
