CINEMÁTICA DE LA MARCHA Y SU RELACIÓN CON EL DESGASTE DEL CALZADO EN CORREDORES AMATEURS

Abstract

The research project aims to determine the kinematics of gait and its relationship with footwear wear in amateur runners. The kinematics of gait involves several parameters, for this reason we sought to relate it to the wear of footwear, for this the evaluations were applied in a population of 50 amateur runners between 18 and 64 years of age of both sexes. An endless treadmill was used to evaluate gait kinematics and an observational evaluation sheet to determine shoe wear; all of this was done in 30 minutes. The design of the research work is analytical, transversal-prospective with a quantitative approach, in this sense, a single evaluation was carried out that obtained numerical and categorical values that were related using the Spearman statistical test. The result obtained in the correlation of the study variables was not statistically significant, however, the relationship between right pelvic asymmetry (RPA) and right shoe wear (DCD) was p=0.048. In conclusion, a significant relationship was found between APD and DCD, which according to researchers is due to the different gait patterns, regardless of footwear wear.
