| Resumen : | RESUMEN EJECUTIVO La presente investigación está enfocada en el análisis de la accesibilidad en el museo Jacinto Jijón y Caamaño, tomando en cuenta la importancia que tiene la accesibilidad dentro del turismo, específicamente del turismo cultural. Pues, varios lugares turísticos tienen limitantes físicas, de comunicación y sociales que no permiten que las personas con discapacidad gocen a plenitud las diversas experiencias del lugar, de este modo y considerando que la cultura es la identidad de un lugar, ciudad o país, se debe permitir el acceso a estos lugares culturales para el disfrute de todas las personas sin limitantes. Como instrumento para realizar la metodología se utilizó la Matriz para evaluar la accesibilidad en el museo, la cual permitió levantar información sobre las condiciones de accesibilidad que tiene el Museo Jacinto Jijón y Caamaño, de esta manera se observa que el estudio está enfocado en la importancia de la implementación o adaptación de servicios e instalaciones accesibles para facilitar la permanencia de los visitantes en el museo. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que el Museo Jacinto Jijón y Caamaño posee un atractivo turístico y cultural sobre la historia del Ecuador, y que el museo es apto para recibir personas con discapacidad |
| Descripción : | This research is focused on the analysis of accessibility in the Jacinto Jijón y Caamaño Museum, considering the importance of accessibility in tourism, specifically in cultural tourism. Several tourist sites have physical, communication and social limitations that do not allow people with disabilities to fully enjoy the various experiences of the place, thus, and considering that culture is the identity of a place, city or country, access to these cultural sites should be allowed for the enjoyment of all people without limitations. As an instrument to carry out the methodology, the Matrix to evaluate accessibility in the museum was used, which allowed to gather information on the accessibility conditions of the Jacinto Jijón y Caamaño Museum, thus showing that the study is focused on the importance of the implementation or adaptation of accessible services and facilities to facilitate the permanence of visitors in the museum. The results obtained show that the Jacinto Jijón y Caamaño Museum has a tourist and cultural attraction on the history of Ecuador, and that the museum is suitable for people with disabilities. |
