dc.descriptionAt present, people have been forced to change their social, educational, financial and family habits due to the crisis that the world is currently facing because of the covid-19. This research seeks to analyze the level of incidence of Equine Therapy in the psychomotor development of children, not associated with a disability in the Altamira center of the Ambato canton. The methodology focuses on a quantitative and qualitative approach, based on bibliographic and documentary information and field research, which will allow the presentation of a descriptive and exploratory study. The educational sphere has been undoubtedly one of the most affected because of the crisis, the confinement has led to the closure of institutions generating not only an educational delay, but also the emotional consequences in children have been undoubtedly one of the most worrying, eating problems, stress, depression, as well as delayed motor skills have been several of the affected aspects. Equine therapy has been proposed as an alternative to these high levels of consequences. This therapy offers great benefits not only at a motor level, but also at an intellectual and emotional level, therefore it is essential to have optimal knowledge for its application, in this research study has managed to obtain a very important contribution at a scientific level, as it has been proven that thanks to Equine Therapy there is a high level of acceptance by the children, It provides greater security to the child, being a novel activity eliminates stress levels in children, stimulates confidence, emotional self-control in addition to many other benefits such as improving the overall musculature, and also thanks to the impulses transmitted by the horses the child receives great information to his braines_ES
