Abstract: | El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la selección de personal y la calidad de servicio en el Hospital Básico Sigchos, para mejorar la Calidad del Servicio. Para ello, se obtuvo una muestra no probabilística de 80 pobladores a partir de los 500 que viven en el cantón Sigchos. En el contraste de hipótesis se empleó un diseño tipo descriptivo – comparativo. La recolección de información fue a través de una encuesta conformada por 13 preguntas aplicada a los pobladores que acuden al hospital y una entrevista conformada por 19 preguntas aplicada al responsable de talento humano del hospital básico Sigchos por medio de la dirección distrital 04D05 Sigchos-Salud. Los resultados indican que la correcta selección de personal influye favorablemente en la calidad del servicio del hospital de Sigchos. Además, la metodología utilizada comprendió un diseño de investigación no experimental mediante un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, apoyada por una investigación bibliográfica y de campo, donde la primera ayudó a definir teóricamente las variables de estudio (selección de personal y calidad del servicio). En donde se pudo determinar problemas de selección de personal en esta casa de salud afectando al nivel de servicio y generando desconfianza y una mala imagen en el usuario externo. Ante ello, el proceso de selección en las entrevistas de trabajo implementando preguntas elementales para obtener información personal y actitudinal de los postulantes al puesto de trabajo, y dedicarle a la entrevista de trabajo un mayor tiempo para poder indagar en los temas de mayor interés, con la finalidad de ir fomentando una atención humanizada a los pacientes que acuden a esta casa de salud en busca de un buen servicio. Para ello, el área de talento humano debería planificar, programar y detallar indicadores de evaluación más eficientes que contribuyan a mejorar los procesos de selección, siendo parte del cumplimiento de objetivos estratégicos a nivel institucional, para alcanzar los niveles de calidad acorde a las necesidades de los usuarios. |
Description: | The objective of this study is to determine the relationship that exists between the selection of personnel and the quality of service in the Hospital Básico Sigchos, in order to improve the Quality of Service. For this, a non-probabilistic sample of 80 inhabitants was obtained from the 500 who live in the Sigchos canton. In contrasting hypotheses, a descriptive-comparative type design was used. Information was collected through a survey made up of 13 questions applied to residents who come to the hospital and an interview made up of 19 questions applied to the head of human talent at the Sigchos basic hospital through the district office 04D05 Sigchos-Salud. The results indicate that the correct selection of personnel has a favorable influence on the quality of service at the Sigchos hospital. In addition, the methodology used comprised a non-experimental research design using a qualitative and quantitative approach, supported by bibliographic and field research, where the first one helped to theoretically define the study variables (selection of personnel and quality of service). Where it was possible to determine personnel selection problems in this health home, affecting the level of service and generating mistrust and a bad image in the external user. Given this, the selection process in job interviews implementing elementary questions to obtain personal and attitudinal information from job applicants, and dedicate more time to the job interview to be able to investigate the topics of greatest interest, with the purpose of promoting humanized care to patients who come to this health home in search of good service. For this, the human talent area should plan, program and detail more efficient evaluation indicators that contribute to improving the selection processes, being part of the fulfillment of strategic objectives at the institutional level, to achieve quality levels according to the needs of the users. |
