Abstract: This research arises from the need to verify if there is a relationship between sleep deprivation and working memory in employees of nightlife centers. 30 empleyees of bars, discos and karaoke bars have been evaluated using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) for the independent variable; On the other hand, for the dependent variable working memory, the subtests of the Weschsler Scale for adults III were used. As results, a correlation was obtained between the variables. In addition, several factors have been raised that may be determining factors for sleep difficulties in this population.
