Abstract

The health crisis due to COVID-19 has caused specific impacts on mothers, deepening the existing gender inequalitym demonstrating the incorporation of needs at the family, economic, work, and social level, but especially at home. The work that women carry out when assuming their Mathernal Role in the fase of the healt crisis due to COVID-19 is an issue of great importance since the confinement measures generate that mothers carry out various activities in their home which show the multiplicity of maternal toles they must fase and as time passes the will generate health problems. A quantitative methodology was used with the aplication o fan instrument in which 90 mother of families who are parto of the “International Cotopaxi” Educational Unit were surveyed about their maternal role, employment situation, economic situation, family situation, technological means and feelings in order to categorize the different maternal roles in the fase of the COVID-19 health crisis. As a proposal for the inclusión of the Mothers of the Family of the Education Unit, an Intervention Plan Will be implemented working on the application of he dimensions: physical, social, family and mental through the management of various support groups located in the Province of Cotopaxi and with the transversal axis that is the family.
