Resumen : | The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the alexithymia and the depression of the people deprived of liberty of the Center for Regional Social Rehabilitation Sierra Central Norte, population that will be the direct beneficiary, since the information obtained will allow the development of psychological programs that will contribute to the process of rehabilitation of the criminal population, in addition to the favoring for future research. The study was made up of forty people, who were evaluated through the Alexithymia Toronto Scale Consensus for Latin America, (LAC-TAS-20) and The Depression Inventory by Beck BDI–II, to evaluate the presence of alexithymia and the levels of depression respectively, for the analysis of the data, we used the statistical program SSPS and through the Chi-square statistical test was obtained a value less than the probability level (0.00 < p 0,05), verifying the existence of relationship between the two variables. The data obtained suggest that is necessary to implement psychological programs that contribute to the process of rehabilitation of the prison population and so to ensure a positive reintegration into society. |
Descripción : | El objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar la relación entre la alexitimia y la depresión de las Personas Privadas de Libertad del Centro de Rehabilitación Social Regional Sierra Centro Norte, población que será la directa beneficiaria, dado que la información obtenida permitirá elaborar programas psicológicos que contribuirán al proceso de rehabilitación de la población penal, además del favorecimiento para futuras investigaciones. La muestra de estudio estuvo constituida por 40 PPL(s), quienes fueron evaluados mediante la Escala Toronto De Alexitimia Consensuada Para Latinoamérica (LAC-TAS-20) y el Inventario De Depresión De Beck BDI–II, para evaluar la presencia de alexitimia y los niveles de depresión respectivamente, para el análisis de los datos se utilizó el programa estadístico SSPS y a través de la prueba estadística del Chi-cuadrado se obtuvo un valor inferior al nivel de probabilidad (0.00 < p 0,05), verificando la existencia de relación entre las dos variables. Los datos obtenidos sugieren que es necesario la implementación de programas psicológicos que contribuyan al proceso de rehabilitación de la población carcelaria y así, poder garantizar una reinserción positiva a la sociedad. |
