| dc.description | Social responsibility is defined as the active and voluntary contribution to social, economic and environmental improvement, is related to the obligation it has with stakeholders, such as the community, employees, corporate governance, family, and suppliers. The objective of the research is to analyze the actions of corporate social responsibility and the financial performance of the cooperative sector of segment 1 of the canton of Ambato. Where the quantitative approach, field modality and bibliography was used, within a descriptive and correlational level, using an observation form for the quantitative information survey and to determine the actions of corporate social responsibility based on the social balance reports that Each cooperative of this study segment is presented, for the second variable, financial performance, financial indicators were applied based on the financial statements. The results were that the cooperatives of segment 1 of the Ambato canton have good performances of corporate social responsibility and their financial performance shows a patrimonial growth. In addition, the relationship between CSR and financial performance is positive. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La responsabilidad social se define como la contribución activa y voluntaria al mejoramiento social, económico y ambiental, guarda relación con la obligación que tiene con los grupos de interés, como son la comunidad, colaboradores, el gobierno corporativo, la familia, y proveedores. La investigación tiene como objetivo, analizar las actuaciones de responsabilidad social empresarial y el desempeño financiero del sector cooperativista del segmento 1 del cantón de Ambato. Donde se utilizó el enfoque cuantitativo, modalidad de campo y bibliográfica, dentro de un nivel descriptivo y correlacional, utilizando una ficha de observación para el levantamiento de información cuantitativa y para determinar las actuaciones de responsabilidad social empresarial en base a los informes de balances sociales que presentan cada cooperativa de este segmento de estudio, para la segunda variable desempeño financiero se aplicó indicadores financieros en base a los estados financieros. Los resultados fueron que las cooperativas del segmento 1 del cantón Ambato tienen buenas actuaciones de responsabilidad social empresarial y su desempeño financiero muestra un crecimiento patrimonial. Además, se muestra la relación entre RSE y desempeño financiero es positiva. | es_ES |
