| dc.description | Foreign trade is an essential factor for the development and growth of the economy, through the various products that are exported and imported it is possible to form different economic categories, in the same way the technological intensity with which each of these is produced goods allows to generate another classification, for this reason, the present investigation is elaborated, which has as objective to determine the relation between the economic categories and the technological intensity in the commercial balance of the Ecuadorian economy during the period 1990 - 2021, as well as to establish the behavior of the large economic categories of imports and exports, evaluate the evolution of the degree of technological intensity of imports and exports and verify the relationship between these variables, the applied methodology corresponds to a descriptive study through graphs and a correlational study through through an econometric model, the results m show that the variables do present a high degree of association and it is concluded that the relationship between the variables is positive. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El comercio exterior es un factor indispensable para el desarrollo y crecimiento de la economía, a través de los diversos productos que se exportan e importan es posible formar diferentes categorías económicas, de la misma manera la intensidad tecnológica con la que se produce cada uno de estos bienes permite generar otra clasificación, por esta razón, se elabora la presente investigación, que tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre las categorías económicas y la intensidad tecnológica en la balanza comercial de la economía ecuatoriana durante el periodo 1990 – 2021, así como establecer el comportamiento de las grandes categorías económicas de las importaciones y exportaciones, evaluar la evolución del grado de intensidad tecnológica de las importaciones y exportaciones y comprobar la relación entre estas variables, la metodología aplicada corresponde a un estudio descriptivo a través de gráficos y a un estudio correlacional a través de un modelo econométrico, los resultados muestran que las variables sí presentan un alto grado de asociación y se concluye que la relación entre las variables es positiva. | es_ES |
