| dc.description | The financial sector has been a key factor in the generation of employment and the development of nations in different countries. In the case of Ecuador, the dynamism of the financial sector has become a major source of income, employment and strengthening of the economy. For Tungurahua this reality is more intense, because in the last few years the financial system has been strengthened, mainly the cooperative system, so that the province has a large number of savings and credit cooperatives in all segments. In the province of Tungurahua, the financial sector has become an important source of employment generation, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of Microsoft Excel software we proceeded to carry out a descriptive study of the evolution of the financial sector and employment in the province of Tungurahua; to finally apply, with the collaboration of the free software GRETL, an Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) model that allowed us to establish the incidence of the financial sector on employment in the province of Tungurahua. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El sector financiero para los distintos países ha sido una pieza clave en la generación de empleo y desarrollo de las naciones, es así, como en el caso ecuatoriano el dinamismo del sector financiero se ha convertido en una fuente primordial de ingresos, empleo y de fortalecimiento de la economía. Para Tungurahua esta realidad es más intensa, debido a que en los últimos años se fortaleció el sistema financiero, principalmente el cooperativista, es así qué, la provincia cuenta con gran cantidad de cooperativas de ahorro y crédito en todos los segmentos. En la provincia de Tungurahua se puede observar como el sector financiero se ha convertido en una fuente importante de generación de empleo, incluso en tiempo de la pandemia a causa del COVID-19. Con la ayuda del software Microsoft Excel se procede a realizar un estudio descriptivo de la evolución del sector financiero y el empleo en la provincia de Tungurahua; para finalmente aplicar con la colaboración del software libre GRETL, un modelo de Mínimos Cuadrados Ordinarios (MCO) que nos permitió establecer la incidencia del Sector financiero en el empleo de la provincia de Tungurahua. | es_ES |
