| dc.description | Social responsibility is defined as the active and voluntary contribution to social, economic and environmental improvement, it is related to the obligation it has with stakeholders, such as the community, employees, corporate governance, the family, and suppliers. The objective of the research is to analyze the actions of corporate social responsibility and the profitability of the cooperative sector of segment 1 in the city of Ambato. Where the quantitative approach, field and bibliographic modality was used, within a descriptive and correlational level, applying surveys, observation sheet for the collection of quantitative information and to determine the actions of corporate social responsibility based on the balance reports presented by each cooperative in this study segment, for the second profitability variable, financial indicators were applied based on the financial statements. The results were that the cooperatives in segment 1 of Ambato canton have good corporate social responsibility performances and their profitability shows growth in the same. In addition, the relationship between CSR and profitability is shown to be positive. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE) se define como la contribución activa y voluntaria al mejoramiento social, económico y ambiental, guarda relación con la obligación que tiene con los grupos de interés, como son la comunidad, colaboradores, el gobierno corporativo, la familia, y proveedores. La investigación tiene como objetivo, analizar las actuaciones de responsabilidad social empresarial y la rentabilidad del sector cooperativista del segmento 1 en la cuidad de Ambato. Donde se utilizó el enfoque cuantitativo, modalidad de campo y bibliográfica, dentro de un nivel descriptivo y correlacional, aplicando las encuestas, y datos de la Superintendencia de Economía Popular y Solidaria (SEPS) para el levantamiento de información cuantitativa y para determinar las actuaciones de responsabilidad social empresarial en base a los informes de balances sociales que presentan cada cooperativa de este segmento de estudio, para la segunda variable rentabilidad se aplicó indicadores financieros en base a los estados financieros. Los resultados fueron que las cooperativas del segmento 1 del cantón Ambato tienen buenas actuaciones de responsabilidad social empresarial y su rentabilidad muestra un crecimiento en la misma. Además, se muestra la relación entre RSE y la rentabilidad es positiva. | es_ES |
