| dc.description | This research aims to identify the relationship of Foreign Direct Investment with the economic growth of the European Union. To accomplish this, a quantitative study was carried out with a 2002-2020 range database using a VAR model, made up of the variables of economic growth and foreign direct investment. The results achieved were that economic growth varied evidently in years such as 2008 and 2019-2020. On the other hand, Foreign Direct Investment did not change in those years, due to its differentiation from GDP. Finally, the VAR proved that economic growth is significantly related to Foreign Direct Investment, and also found that it is the most decisive of the two in the applied model. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación tiene por objetivo identificar la relación de la Inversión Extranjera Directa con el crecimiento económico de la Unión Europea. Para cumplir esto, se realizó un estudio cuantitativo con una base de datos de rango 2002-2020 mediante un modelo VAR, conformado por las variables de crecimiento económico y de inversión extranjera directa. Los resultados alcanzados fueron que, el crecimiento económico varió de forma evidente en años como 2008 y 2019-2020. Por otro lado, la Inversión Extranjera Directa no cambió en esos años, por la diferenciación que tiene con el PIB. Por último, el VAR probó que el crecimiento económico sí se relaciona significativamente con la Inversión Extranjera Directa, y además comprobó, que el mismo es el más determinante de los dos en el modelo aplicado. | es_ES |
