Juan Federico Villacís Uvidia DATE: March 2023 ABSTRACT Public management is a fundamental activity exercised by the state with the purpose of improving the sectors of the national economy that show a limited level of innovation, impairing its efficiency. It is worth noting that Ecuador has aimed at improving the sectors whose function is to seek improvement in the quality of life of its inhabitants through the generation of employment. For this reason, the present study focused on defining the level of relationship that exists between the sectors that are under the regime of public management of the state, which are the health, education and social welfare sectors, with respect to national employment in Ecuador. The research has a descriptive correlational approach based on a period established from 2007 to 2021, the data were obtained from secondary sources of official pages. As methodologies to fulfill the purpose of the research, a trend analysis was applied for each of the variables which allowed us to observe the evolution and behavior, therefore a multiple linear regression model was applied to define the existing relationship. The results achieved in the research allowed us to determine that the sector that contributes significantly to the generation of employment in the Ecuadorian economy is the health sector, followed by the education sector and finally it was evidenced that the contribution of the social welfare sector does not provide a significant contribution. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La gestión pública es una actividad fundamental ejercida por el Estado con la finalidad de mejorar los sectores de la economía nacional que muestran un limitado nivel de innovación perjudicando su eficiencia, cabe señalar que el Ecuador se ha encaminado en perfeccionar los sectores cuya función es buscar la mejoría en cuanto a la calidad de vida de sus habitantes a través de la generación de empleo. Por tal razón, el presente estudio se enfocó en definir el nivel de relación que existe entre los sectores que se encuentran bajo el régimen de la gestión pública del Estado los cuales fueron el sector salud, educación y bienestar social, ante el empleo nacional del Ecuador. La investigación cuenta con un enfoque descriptivo correlacional en base a un periodo establecido del año 2007 hasta el año 2021, los datos fueron obtenidos de fuentes secundarias de páginas oficiales. Como metodologías para cumplir con el propósito de la investigación se aplicó un análisis de tendencia para cada una de las variables las cuales nos permitió observar la evolución y su comportamiento, por consiguiente se aplicó un modelo de regresión lineal múltiple para definir la relación existente. Los resultados alcanzados en la investigación permitieron determinar que el sector que aporta de manera significativa a la generación de empleo en la economía ecuatoriana es el sector salud, seguido del sector educación y finalmente se evidenció que la contribución del sector de bienestar social no brinda un aporte significativo. | es_ES |
