| dc.description | The Junta Administradora de Agua Potable y Saneamiento Regional Yanahurco (JAAPSRY) is responsible for providing drinking water services to several sectors of the cantons of Mocha, Cevallos, Ambato and Tisaleo, its main objective is to ensure the supply of drinking water to users in a timely and honest manner, For this reason, the revaluation of fixed assets improved the accuracy of the financial statements and optimized resource management, using a comprehensive methodological approach for the revaluation of its Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE), combining the revaluation of fixed assets with the revaluation of its Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE), A comprehensive methodological approach was used for the revaluation of its Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE), combining accounting theory with business practices, on the other hand, a thorough analysis of the requirements and procedures established in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) relevant to the revaluation of assets was carried out, hand in hand with interviews of accounting and financial experts, whose compilation allowed reaching the conclusion that the value resulting from the revaluation process for the assets of the Junta de Agua Potable has been determined as USD 160,070. 48. | dc.description.abstract | La Junta Administradora de Agua Potable y Saneamiento Regional Yanahurco (JAAPSRY) es la responsable de proporcionar servicios de agua potable a varios sectores de los cantones Mocha, Cevallos, Ambato y Tisaleo, su objetivo principal es garantizar el suministro de agua potable a los usuarios de manera oportuna y honesta, contribuyendo así a la salud y el bienestar de la población, por tal motivo, la revalorización de activos fijos permitió mejorar la precisión de los estados financieros y optimizar la gestión de recursos, se utilizó un enfoque metodológico integral para la revalorización de su Propiedad, Planta y Equipo (PPE), combinando teoría contable con prácticas empresariales, por otro lado, se realizó un análisis exhaustivo de los requisitos y procedimientos establecidos en las Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera (NIIF) pertinentes a la revalorización de activos, de la mano con entrevistas de expertos contables y financieros, cuya compilación permitió llegar a la conclusión que el valor resultante del proceso de revaluación para los activos de la Junta de Agua Potable ha sido determinado como USD 160,070.48.
