| dc.description | The purpose of this research project is to analyze how the Sustainable Development Goals and cooperative principles influence accounting and financial sustainability of the cooperative sector of the city of Ambato. It was carried out using a primary and secondary source, with the interview and observation technique, which was carried out with 12 savings and credit cooperatives from segment 1 and 2. In this way, financial information was obtained from the cooperatives studied, such as their activities influence financial sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, how the recognition of cooperative principles significantly influences the results of cooperatives. Indeed, it was found that the savings and credit cooperatives of Ambato show normality in their financial indicators. Finally, we can conclude that Financial Sustainability and Accounting are closely related to the Sustainable Development Goals and cooperative principles, so by adopting sound financial practices and aligning with the ODS, cooperatives can generate a positive impact in the community, advancing towards sustainable and equitable development in the city of Ambato. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como finalidad analizar como los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible y los principios cooperativos influyen en la contabilidad y la sostenibilidad financiera del sector cooperativo de la ciudad de Ambato. Se efectuó mediante fuente primaria y secundaria, con la técnica de la entrevista y la observación, la cual se ejecutó a 12 cooperativas de ahorro y crédito del segmento 1 y 2. De esta manera se obtuvo información financiera de las cooperativas estudiadas, tales como sus actividades influyen en la sostenibilidad financiera y en los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. Además, de cómo el reconocimiento de los principios cooperativos influye significativamente en los resultados de las cooperativas. En efecto, se encontró que las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito de Ambato muestran normalidades en sus indicadores financieros. Finalmente, podemos concluir que la Sostenibilidad Financiera y la Contabilidad se relacionan estrechamente con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible y los principios cooperativos, por lo que al adoptar practicas financieras sólidas y alinearse con los ODS, las cooperativas tienen la capacidad de generar un impacto positivo en la comunidad, avanzando hacia un desarrollo sostenible y equitativo en la ciudad de Ambato. | es_ES |
