| dc.description | In this integrative project, a special examination of the Property, Plant and Equipment component of Speedy Internet was carried out, with the main purpose of evaluating the reasonableness of this component in the entity's financial statements. To collect information, interviews, surveys, and observation forms applied to the accounting area were used. In addition, through physical verification, it was verified that the company maintains an adequate management of its assets. On the other hand, the analysis of depreciation and its comparison with the accounting records allowed us to detect errors related to the calculation and application of formulas affecting the reliability of the financial information. Based on these findings, audit reports were issued that included specific recommendations, such as the proper application of the depreciation method and the implementation of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) to standardize accounting processes and develop a policy manual focused on the management of the component. The review provided Speedy Internet management with comprehensive feedback on the component's accounting status, serving as a strategic decision-making tool. | |
| dc.description.abstract | En el presente proyecto integrador se llevó a cabo un Examen especial al componente Propiedad Planta y Equipo en la empresa Speedy Internet, con el propósito principal de evaluar la razonabilidad de este componente en los estados financieros de la entidad. Para recolectar información se utilizaron entrevistas, encuestas y ficha de observación aplicadas al área contable. Además, mediante constatación física se verifico que la empresa mantiene un adecuado manejo de los activos. Por otro lado, el análisis de las depreciaciones y su comparación con los registros contables permitió detectar errores relacionados con el cálculo y aplicación de fórmulas afectando la confiabilidad de la información financiera. A partir de estos hallazgos, se emitieron informes de auditoría que incluyeron recomendaciones específicas, tales como aplicar de manera adecuado el método de depreciación e implementar las Normas Internacionales de Contabilidad (NIC) y las Normas Internacionales de Auditoría (NIA) para estandarizar los procesos contables y desarrollar un manual de políticas enfocado en la gestión del componente. El examen proporciono a la administración de Speedy Internet una retroalimentación integral sobre el estado contable del componente, sirviendo como una herramienta estratégica para la toma de decisiones. | |
