| dc.description | The production of beans is of great importance within the agricultural production in Ecuador, because the income generated by this sector contributes to the growth and economic development of the country. This research seeks to analyze the production of beans and its impact on the Gross Domestic Product of Ecuador within the period 2010-2020. In the first place, a descriptive statistical study was developed, where the main characteristics presented by the Agricultural GDP and bean production were described, in addition, exports, imports, area planted and harvested of beans were also considered, in order to analyze the evolution of these variables. The results show that the production, exports, imports, planted and harvested area of beans have presented a positive and negative trend, since they have varied in each year, while the Agricultural GDP has grown constantly. The production of beans has a very low level of participation in the Agricultural GDP in relation to other agricultural products belonging to this productive sector. In addition, by estimating an econometric model, the behavior of bean production compared to Agricultural GDP was analyzed. The production and imports of beans have an inversely proportional relationship with the Agricultural GDP, while exports have a directly proportional impact. The Agricultural GDP depends mainly on the variables production, exports and imports. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La producción de fréjol tiene gran importancia dentro de la producción agrícola en Ecuador, debido a que los ingresos que genera este sector aportan al crecimiento y desarrollo económico del país. En esta investigación se busca analizar la producción de fréjol y su incidencia en el Producto Interno Bruto Agrícola de Ecuador dentro del periodo 2010-2020. En primer lugar, se desarrolló un estudio estadístico descriptivo, donde se describieron las principales características que presentó el PIB agrícola y la producción de fréjol, además se consideraron también las exportaciones, importaciones, superficie plantada y cosechada de fréjol, con la finalidad de analizar la evolución de estas variables. Los resultados muestran que la producción, exportaciones, importaciones, superficie plantada y cosechada de fréjol han presentado una tendencia positiva y negativa, ya que han variado en cada año, mientras que el PIB agrícola ha crecido constantemente. La producción de fréjol cuenta con un nivel de participación muy bajo en el PIB agrícola en relación a otros productos agrícolas pertenecientes a este sector productivo. Además mediante la estimación de un modelo econométrico se analizó el comportamiento que presenta la producción de fréjol frente al PIB agrícola. La producción e importaciones de fréjol tienen una relación inversamente proporcional con el PIB agrícola, en cambio las exportaciones presentan un impacto directamente proporcional. El PIB agrícola depende mayormente de las variables producción, exportaciones e importaciones. | es_ES |
