| dc.description | The present research project entitled “Social responsibility through the web, social balance in the Ecuadorian savings and credit cooperatives of zone 3” aims to determine the level of disclosure of social responsibility of the Savings and Credit Cooperatives (COAC ) Ecuadorians from segment 1 - Zone 3 made up of a total of 12 cooperative entities, through their social balance reports published on the web, considering the methodology used by each cooperative entity for their preparation. For the research analysis, a table of variable-content was prepared that compares the structure of the social balance model presented by the Superintendency of Popular and Solidarity Economy (SEPS) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) model in its Standard 2016 version, of the which was able to determine the congruences that will be evaluated by using the Likert Scale. The result obtained in this research shows the differences between Savings and Credit Cooperatives for the preparation of their social balance sheet, since there is no consensus on the model to be used and the amount of information to be disclosed, social balances are shown with scant and imprecise information. The level of disclosure of social responsibility through the web for the 5 COACs of segment 1 - Zone 3 that presented reports, obtained a LOW rating according to the Likert scale, due to the lack of information that can be obtained both in the respective web pages, as in the social balance reports of each cooperative. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación titulado “Responsabilidad social a través de la web, balance social en las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito ecuatorianas de la zona 3” tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de divulgación de responsabilidad social de las Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito (COAC) ecuatorianas del segmento 1 - Zona 3 conformadas por un total de 12 entidades cooperativas, a través de sus informes de balance social publicados en la web, considerando la metodología utilizada por cada entidad cooperativa para su elaboración. Para el análisis de investigación se elaboró un cuadro de variable-contenido que compara la estructura del modelo de balance social presentado por la Superintendencia de Economía Popular y Solidaria (SEPS) y el modelo Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) en su versión Estándar 2016, del cual se pudo determinar las congruencias que serán evaluadas mediante la utilización de la Escala de Likert. El resultado obtenido en esta investigación muestra las diferencias existentes entre Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito para la elaboración de su balance social, al no existir un consenso en el modelo a utilizar y la cantidad de información a revelar se muestran balances sociales con información escasa e imprecisa. El nivel de divulgación de la responsabilidad social a través de la web para las 5 COAC del segmento 1 - Zona 3 que presentaron informes, obtuvo una calificación BAJA de acuerdo a la escala de Likert, debido a la falta de información que se puede conseguir tanto en las respectivas páginas web, como en los informes de balance social de cada cooperativa. | es_ES |
