| dc.description | The research analyzes the relationship between business performance and fixed asset investment decisions among artisans in the dairy products sector of the canton of Ambato. The main problem is related to limited access to financing, technology, and adequate infrastructure, factors that affect the productivity, competitiveness, and economic sustainability of small producers. The general objective was to analyze the relationship between business performance and fixed asset investment decisions through statistical techniques. It also sought to identify the determining factors of business performance and investment decisions, as well as to establish the relationship between both variables. The methodology followed a quantitative, descriptive, and correlational approach. The population consisted of 34 artisan producers of dairy products from the canton of Ambato, applying a census through structured surveys and statistical analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed that investment in fixed assets significantly influences business performance; therefore, it is necessary to strengthen access to credit, training, and technological modernization in order to improve the competitiveness of the artisan dairy sector. | |
| dc.description.abstract | La investigación analiza la relación entre el desempeño empresarial y las decisiones de inversión en activos fijos de los artesanos del sector de productos lácteos del cantón Ambato. La dificultad es que no tienen acceso a financiamiento, tecnología ni infraestructura adecuada, lo que repercute en la productividad, competitividad y sostenibilidad económica de los pequeños agricultores. El objetivo general fue estudiar la relación entre las decisiones de inversión en activos fijos y el desempeño de la empresa, aplicando técnicas estadísticas. Además, se intentó identificar qué determina las decisiones de inversión y el rendimiento empresarial y cómo se asocian estas dos variables. La metodología fue cuantitativa, descriptiva y correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 34 artesanos productores de quesos del cantón Ambato; se aplicó un censo mediante encuestas estructuradas y análisis estadístico en IBM SPSS Statistics. Se concluye que la inversión en activos fijos afecta positivamente el desempeño de la empresa, por lo que se deben fortalecer las condiciones para el acceso al crédito, la capacitación y la actualización tecnológica con el fin de incrementar la competitividad del sector artesanal lácteo. | |
