Abstract
Las exportaciones de semiconductores desde Taiwán a China tienen un alto impacto en la economía de ese país, debido a la alta demanda de la industria tecnológica de circuitos integrados. Esto ha convertido a Taiwán, el principal exportador bajo el modelo de fundición, en un actor clave para el gigante asiático y el mundo. Por tal motivo, esta investigación se enfoca en analizar la relación entre las exportaciones de semiconductores desde Taiwán a China y la demanda de circuitos integrados durante el período 2013-2023. Para ello, se aplican metodologías de análisis, como el análisis exploratorio de datos (EDA) y el análisis de series de tiempo, con la finalidad de comprender las variables, y, finalmente, se utiliza el coeficiente de Spearman para evaluar la relación.
Description
Semiconductor exports from Taiwan to China have a high impact on that country's economy, due to the high demand from the integrated circuit technology industry. This has turned Taiwan, the main exporter under the foundry model, into a key player for the Asian giant and the world. For such reason, this research focuses on analyzing the relationship between semiconductor exports from Taiwan to China and the demand for integrated circuits during the period 2013-2023. For this purpose, analysis methodologies such as exploratory data analysis (EDA) and time series analysis are applied in order to understand the variables, and finally, Spearman coefficient is used to evaluate the relationship.
