| Resumen : | La investigación identifico la Fiesta popular y la identidad cultural del Cantón Patate como manifestación cultural de sus habitantes. Se empleó un enfoque mixto con un diseño de investigación no experimental de tipo transversal, utilizando un alcance fenomenológico con un muestreo intencional para la variable cualitativa y un muestreo probabilístico al azar para la variable cuantitativa. El primer instrumento para recolectar la información fue la entrevista con preguntas abiertas para personas claves y el segundo instrumento aplicado fue la encuesta de 7 preguntas en escala de Likert dirigido a la población Patateña. Mediante la entrevista se concluye que existen diferentes características de “La Fiesta del Señor del Terremoto” como fiesta popular que abarca manifestaciones culturales; mediante la encuesta en base a la festividad se determinó que la gente que habita Patate se identifica mayormente con ciertas actividades realizadas en la festividad que están centradas en la religión católica. Los resultados obtenidos en este estudio es la elaboración de una revista digital donde se plasma características generales de la fiesta popular dirigida a la población Patateña permitiendo la difusión de conocimientos y elementos de la fiesta popular para mantener y trasmitir la cultura del pueblo junto a sus tradiciones y actividades. |
| Descripción : | The research identified the popular festival and the cultural identity of Canton Patate as a cultural manifestation of its inhabitants. A mixed approach was used with a transversal non-experimental research design, using a phenomenological scope with a purposive sampling for the qualitative variable and a random probability sampling for the quantitative variable. The first instrument used to collect information was the interview with open-ended questions for key people and the second instrument applied was the 7- question Likert scale survey directed to the Patateño population. Through the interview it was concluded that there are different characteristics of "La Fiesta del Señor del Terremoto" as a popular festival that encompasses cultural manifestations; through the survey based on the festival it was determined that the people who live in Patate identify mostly with certain activities carried out during the festival that are centered on the Catholic religion. The results obtained in this study is the development of a digital magazine where general characteristics of the popular festival directed to the Patateña population are reflected, allowing the dissemination of knowledge and elements of the popular festival to maintain and transmit the culture of the people along with their traditions and activities. |
