Procesos de impresión a partir de los remanentes del clúster de cuero y calzado de Tungurahua como estrategia de sustentabilidad

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to identify a new process to reuse the remnants of the leather and footwear industry in Tungurahua, in order to reduce the levels of contamination due to accumulation and waste, while increasing the positioning of the brand and products image. Tungurahua is the province that contributes the most to the economic development of the country in the production of leather and footwear, it is one of the most important locally, nationally and internationally with Tungurahua products; that generates a high demand for products related to leather, footwear, textiles and upholstery, which in its process of obtaining and manufacturing objects produces negative impacts on the environment due to its high level of contamination with chemical residues that these emanate and in the tanning process and the remnants of leather that are discarded in the manufacture of footwear, as they are not reused.
