Sistema de monitoreo de alarmas mediante mensajería SMS e interface hacia un computador para la recepción de eventos de emergencia

Abstract

Los sistemas de alarmas son elementos que permiten disuadir a un potencial intruso y alarmar sobre una situación anormal, que ponga en peligro la seguridad del lugar en donde estos sistemas se encuentren instalados; Con ayuda de los diferentes medios de comunicación es posible monitorear diversos elementos de detección, y aunque el medio más utilizado inicialmente fue la red de telefonía fija, hoy la red de telefonía móvil, es una herramienta útil para este tipo de proyectos, debido a su gran cobertura, puesto que hace posible obtener información en tiempo real de los elementos de detección. El sistema de monitoreo desarrollado está compuesto por una central de alarma que es la encargada de detectar cualquier actividad o situación de riesgo en una vivienda, y enviar la información de detección de los sensor mediante un mensaje de texto a través de la red GSM hasta una central de monitoreo, donde dicha información es receptada y mostrada a través de una página web para facilitar la interpretación y visualización de los eventos.
