Item type:Ítem, Diseño de vivienda de interés social adaptable al crecimiento familiar en la parroquia de Pishilata, Ambato – Ecuado(UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE AMBATO FACULTAD DE DISEÑO Y ARQUITECTURA CARRERA DE ARQUITECTURA, 2025-07-24) ;Vinueza Barrionuevo Kerly Johanna ;Llerena Tamayo Mauricio RodrigoUNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE AMBATO FACULTAD DE DISEÑO Y ARQUITECTURA CARRERA DE ARQUITECTURAThis thesis proposes the design of a progressive social housing model, projected to adapt to family growth and developed in the parish of Pishilata, canton Ambato. The study responds to the qualitative housing deficit faced by families in the canton, especially those in the initial stages of family consolidation, thus avoiding informal self-construction processes and unplanned expansions. The research is developed under a qualitative and projective approach, combining interviews, case studies, contextual and normative analysis. Based on the diagnosis, a family avatar (AB) was constructed, representing a young couple with growth projection, which allowed the definition of spatial criteria and housing evolution patterns. The architectural proposal is based on an initial housing unit of 54 m² with potential for vertical growth in two phases (Phase 01 and Phase 02), reaching a final area of 108 m². A mixed construction system is proposed, with a concrete structure for the initial phase and a metal structure and a composite slab for the extensions, accompanied by strategies of flexibility and functional adaptability. The design considers structural modulation, spatial efficiency and functional zoning, ensuring environmental comfort, ventilation and natural lighting. The proposal is validated through growth patterns that allow for the development of extensions in phases, and is accompanied by diagrams, plans and technical data sheets that demonstrate its viability. The result is a replicable model, adaptable and coherent with the context and properties with similar conditions, oriented to provide adequate housing solutions with an evolutionary approach.
