    The research project "Natural light as a resource in the morphological conception of the interior space" brings solutions in strategies and application of natural light through an experimental ephemeral design in the interior space, as materiality and form in order to improve the quality of the space, through a vision to apply future designs in homes, libraries, commercial spaces, sports among others, within the city of Ambato. This is mainly about reaching the ethereal form of light through a basic design job, with the use of lighting as the main ingredient. It is intended to achieve through the dosed application of the elements that are the duality between light, shadow and the architectural envelope. With these elements its mission is to transform the environment, to adapt it according to human needs and at the same time, generating emotions, experiences and sensations. The purpose is to use this means of energy as an alternative material or resource in the architectural space for a process of change in an integral and harmonious way, proposing several alternatives, leaving aside the traditional and monotonous in light income and form. For which the project was based on bibliographic research, field research, and the level of exploratory, descriptive research, with a focus through design, to arrive at this proposition, the contemporary user-centered theory is used, which allows to develop a research based on practice, generating new knowledge. A series of techniques and data collection instruments were used, specifically the analysis of case studies and the interview. To address the parameters studied in the project, the Thinking method was used, create an action plan and use it as a guide to reach the final proposal in a coherent manner and without deviation from the purpose of the project. The method follows a simple five steps that are: empathy, definition, ideation, prototype and testing.
