This thesis addresses the design of inclusive graphic material as a support resource in the teaching of sexual education to young people with Down syndrome, using the Latidos Down Foundation in Ambato as a case study. It highlights the problem of the limited availability of appropriate visual resources to address sexual education in individuals with intellectual disabilities. The theoretical framework encompasses graphic design, visual communication, inclusive sexual education, and the cognitive characteristics of Down syndrome. A descriptive methodology with a qualitative approach was applied, including expert interviews, direct observation, and analysis of existing materials. The proposal integrates accessible visual elements, clear language, and playful resources, emphasizing the relevance of graphic design as a pedagogical tool to promote understanding, respect, and autonomy in the educational processes of young people with intellectual disabilities.
