Through editorial design, the study seeks to develop personalized material that can connect with preschool children and that serves as a tool for teachers at the Doctor Camilo Gallegos Specialized Educational Unit, serving as a guide for teachers, parents, and children, and promoting inclusive language both inside and outside the classroom. The research questions address how editorial design can contribute to this learning and which graphic elements support the teaching of sign language in educational and family settings. The study's objectives include investigating the use of graphic design in sign language teaching, analyzing the effectiveness of pictograms and illustrations in educational materials, designing an accessible manual for the educational community, and evaluating its applicability through testing with teachers and families. The social relevance of the project lies in its contribution to inclusive education, allowing children with hearing impairments, their peers, and their families access to a visually clear and didactic tool that facilitates communication.
