The Tungurahua No. 18 Subzone of the Police of Ambato ensures public safety, but
they fase high-risk and stressful situations, which often leads to the neglect of personnel’s
mental health as they prioritize their work. This project focuses on planning internal
communication strategies to promote mental health among the staff. The project uses a
deductive methodology with a mixed approach, combining field research and
bibliographic study for a better theoretical foundation.
Through interviews with mental health experts, police officers, and professionals in
graphic design and communication, as well as surveys, the project identifies the needs and
preferences of the staff. The project proposes key strategies such as printed and digital
informational materials, and improving the visual design of the Health Center. The goal
is to promote the importance of mental health among the staff and to offer practical tools
to manage stress and emotions.
