Item type:Ítem, Diseño interior con identidad Pujilense en espacios Patrimoniales de la ciudad de Latacunga(2022-11) ;Castiilo Campaña, Shirley MicaelaViteri Medina, Galo AlejandroABSTRACT This project is focused on the creation of a leisure space (cafeteria) that reflects the cultural identity of the Pujilense Corpus Christi festivity with its protagonist the dancer, in the geographical context of the city of Latacunga, the space will be located in the building heritage of the Chamber of Small Industry of Cotopaxi located on Belisario Quevedo streets between Guayaquil and Padre Salcedo. The main objective of the development of the project is to highlight cultural identity through a space for public use which, due to its location in the historic center of the city, will be easily accessible to residents of the sector and tourists from all over the world. It is important to understand that, like cultural identity, architectural heritage is of great historical-cultural value and it is vital that it be preserved from generation to generation, thus keeping the essence of our ancestors intact and above the changes of the present. It is understood that advances and constant changes are an essential part of the development and innovation of humanity, however, the correct cultural diffusion will keep us rooted in our sense of belonging to a social group enriched with culture. Making use of the design of architectural spaces, it is proposed to create comfortable spaces for users with a focus on learning and acculturation, developing a dynamic and multifaceted place that meets the expectations of its users.
