Item type:Ítem, Diseño de una colección de indumentaria femenina con técnicas de cabuyería en colaboración con los emprendedores “Semilleros(UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE AMBATO FACULTAD DE DISEÑO Y ARQUITECTURA CARRERA DE DISEÑO TEXTIL E INDUMENTARIA, 2025-07-28) ;Cárdenas Oviedo Gabriela Paulina ;Solís Sánchez Sandra JacquelineUNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE AMBATO FACULTAD DE DISEÑO Y ARQUITECTURA CARRERA DE DISEÑO TEXTIL E INDUMENTARIAThis research seeks to create a women's apparel collection that incorporates ropemaking techniques, in collaboration with the entrepreneurial group "Semilleros." This project aims to preserve a craft practice that is at risk of disappearing, giving it new value through its aesthetic, functional, and sustainable application in the fashion industry. To achieve this objective, a methodology based on the nine domains of design was applied, which facilitated a detailed analysis of the user, their environment, and the purpose of the garments. Qualitative studies, including interviews, focus groups, and experiments, were conducted to identify the appropriate types of knots, the most suitable materials, and the preferences of the target audience. Throughout the creative process, visual, conceptual, and symbolic elements were established that shaped the collection's proposal. The results show that rope-making, especially macramé, has great potential to be integrated into contemporary textile design, providing artisanal value, a unique aesthetic, and a sustainable approach. Collaboration with local entrepreneurs strengthened the connection between design and the artisan community, promoting both economic development and cultural preservation. Ultimately, the project successfully combines traditional techniques with modern fashion design, generating an innovative proposal that responds to current market demands, reaffirms cultural identity, and protects intangible heritage through design. Carrera de Diseño de Modas., 2017-11) ;Cevallos Pico, Lizeth FernandaMena Sánchez, Victoria ElizabethThe design of fashion accessories with the technique of thermofusion, creates environmental awareness in people, companies and organizations who currently recycle waste materials (plastics, bottles, bags and others), useful to create innovative and functional and ecological items that currently have more demand in the market. This project creates a line of accessories with the fusion of recyclables with textiles by thermofusion maintaining visual harmony between textures of colors and three-dimensional shapes. The objectives of the study suggest identifying the appropriate material for textile thermofusion, determining the requirements of the female segment and developing accessories with recycled material. The analytical-synthetic method decomposes the problem in two vertices, the one gathers opinions on expert thermofusion, but the inductive-deductive method tests various materials, to select those that exceed the proposed indicators. The theoretical support required the bibliographic modality to define processes and work designs for the artisans of the medium. The most relevant results of this work, show that there are no accessories made with recycling, although wool, leather and fabric are used in crafts, and in thermofusion, organic plastics and metallic plastics (CDs) are better, preferences they are aimed at women between 18 and 24 years of medium-high purchasing power, who prefer to buy handbags or other unique, innovative, eco-sustainable and eco-friendly accessories online.
