Resumen : | Currently, mobile devices play an essential role in everyday life in general. Within the framework of the health emergency, the tourism sector in Galapagos found itself in need of offering its products and/or services in an innovative way, which is why surveys were applied in March to 267 tourist servers and 383 tourists. subscribed to the Galapagos Ocean Safaris S.A.S. agency, obtaining that 34% of servers mentioned the importance of promoting tourism through virtual reality technology and 41% considered that implementing a mobile application would help promote their products and/or services, while, 0.7% of tourists mentioned the lack of information through mobile applications and 37.24% considered that an application would improve their tourist experience during their stay on the island. In this context. this project emphasizes the development of a multiplatform mobile application with virtual reality technology, to promote experiential tourism on Santa Cruz Island. Likewise, to give continuity in the agile management of the project. a hybrid methodology between XP and Mobile-D was used, which facilitated its development, relying on the use of technologies such as Flutter and Unity together with their programming languages Dart and C# respectively. In short, the software was implemented, and the TAM model was applied, obtaining that approximately 89% of the actors involved are satisfied with the promotion of experiential tourism, since it is highly favored judging by historical data established in the aforementioned surveys. |
Descripción : | Actualmente, los dispositivos móviles juegan un papel imprescindible en la vida cotidiana en general. Dentro del marco de la emergencia sanitaria, el sector turístico en Galápagos se encontró en la necesidad de ofertar sus productos y/o servicios de forma innovadora, es por ello, que se aplicó encuestas en el mes de marzo a 267 servidores turisticos y 383 turistas suscritos a la agencia Galápagos Ocean Safaris S.A.S.. obteniendo que un 34% de servidores mencionaron la importancia de promocionar el turismo mediante tecnologia de realidad virtual y un 41% consideraron que implantar una aplicación móvil ayudaria a promocionar sus productos y/o servicios, mientras que, el 0,7% de turistas mencionaron la falta de información mediante aplicaciones móviles y un 37.24% consideraron que un aplicativo mejoraria su experiencia turistica durante su estadia en la isla, en este contexto, el presente proyecto hace énfasis al desarrollo de una aplicación móvil multiplataforma con tecnologia de realidad virtual, para fomentar el turismo vivencial en la isla Santa Cruz. Asimismo, para dar continuidad en la gestión ágil del proyecto se empleo una metodologia hibrida entre XP y Mobile-D la misma que facilitó su desarrollo. apoyándose en el uso de tecnologias como Flutter y Unity junto a sus lenguajes de programación Dart y C# respectivamente. En definitiva, se implantó el software y se aplicó el modelo TAM, obteniendo que aproximadamente un 89% de los actores involucrados se encuentran satisfechos con el impulso del turismo vivencial, pues se ve altamente favorecido a juzgar por históricos asentados en las encuestas antes mencionadas. |
