El bullying en los estudiantes con necesidades educativas especiales

Abstract

The present article addresses the issue of bullying in students with special educational needs (SEN) with the aim of providing a deep understanding of the dynamics and specific manifestations of this phenomenon in an inclusive educational context. As attention has increasingly focused on promoting equality and diversity in classrooms, it is essential to closely examine the experience of students with SEN in the face of school bullying. The research is based on a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, case studies, and data collected through surveys and interviews. A multidimensional approach is employed, considering factors such as the type of disability, the school environment, social interactions, and intervention strategies. The results reveal distinctive patterns of bullying affecting students with SEN, highlighting forms of verbal aggression, social exclusion, and disability-based discrimination. Risk and protective factors are identified, along with the perception of students and educators regarding the effectiveness of implemented preventive and corrective measures. The article also emphasizes the importance of awareness and training for educators, students, and parents, proposing specific recommendations to create more inclusive and secure educational environments.
