| Resumen : | Nursing has been characterized as a profession of vocation and service, for it must develop and strengthen values, attitudes and skills, which involve being and doing, humanly support with discipline and ethics, in order to promote human welfare in its different spaces, strengthen and reform their health care capacities, the application of the PAE, benefits the patient's health and promotes the autonomy of the profession by requiring professionals to have skills and abilities to observe, assess, decide, perform, evaluate and interact with others. The objective of the present investigation was to determine the factors that influence the non-application of the PAE. The method used was quantitative, a retrospective, cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out, the sample size was constituted by 31 nursing professionals who work in the different services of the General Hospital Latacunga, for the collection of the information a questionnaire was applied structured and validated which is composed of two types of questions; first those that helped us identify the sociodemographic characteristics of the nursing professionals and second those that allowed the researcher to meet the proposed objectives. Subsequently, they were tabulated, analyzed and discussed based on the results obtained through the application of surveys in a precise and cautious way. | Descripción : | La enfermería se ha caracterizado por ser una profesión de vocación y servicio, para ello debe desarrollar y fortalecer valores, actitudes y aptitudes, que involucran el ser y el hacer, apoyarse humanamente con disciplina y ética, con el propósito de favorecer el bienestar humano en sus diferentes espacios, fortalecer y reformar sus capacidades en el cuidado de la salud , la aplicación del PAE, beneficia la salud del paciente y promueve la autonomía de la profesión exigiendo a los profesionales habilidades y destrezas para observar, valorar, decidir, realizar, evaluar e interactuar con otros. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores que influyen en la no aplicación del PAE. El método empleado fue cuantitativo, se realizó un estudio retrospectivo, descriptivo de corte transversal, el tamaño de la muestra estuvo constituida por 31 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en los diferentes servicios del Hospital General Latacunga, para la recolección de la información se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado y validado el cual está compuesto por dos tipos de preguntas; primero aquellas que nos ayudó a identificar las características sociodemográficas de los profesionales de enfermería y segundo aquellas que permitieron al investigador cumplir con los objetivos propuestos. Posteriormente fueron tabuladas, analizadas y discutidas en base a los resultados obtenidos mediante la aplicación de encuetas en forma precisa y cautelosa. Entre los resultados obtenidos se evidenció la utilidad del proceso de atención de enfermería y los factores influyentes para su aplicación. |
