Determinación de Antígeno Somático y Flagelar de Salmonella SPP y su relación con Trastornos Gastrointestinales en trabajadores de Avícolas del Cantón Pelileo

Abstract

Salmonella spp. is a genre of bacteria Gram negative responsible of a disease zoonotic that causes problems of health important in them people that work in the area of it poultry since maintain a narrow contact with them birds of posture main reservoir of the bacterium Salmonella typhi that affects to them human.

The present investigation was carried out with the aim of determining if there is relationship between gastrointestinal disorders with salmonellosis in poultry of the Canton Pelileo. In addition to the research raised specific objectives such as; identify few people that working in them poultry presented disorders gastrointestinal, another objective was detect antigens through the test of laboratory of serotyping of Widal and Weil-Felix in them inhabitants of it community that work with birds of posture, and the end was determine them factors of risk that affect in the transmission of the salmonella to them poultry of it community.

The focus of the work was quantitative, applying a field research, with a level of type exploratory and descriptive, in addition surveys were conducted to 70 poultry, to identify predisposing factors that give rise to the contamination with micro-organisms and assess the degree of knowledge of farmers about biosafety regulations that must be implemented in poultry.

This helped us to determine farmers pollute it with different microorganisms due to lack of information and application of biosafety regulations at the time of their daily tasks.
