The investigator used a quantitative method and pre-experimental research. The sample was one group of 39 students from the second semester of “Pedagogía de los Idiomas Nacionales y Extranjeros” program at Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The study lasted four weeks in which 6 sessions via the Zoom platform were provided to give learners the treatment. The research tools used were a pre-test and a post-test adapted from Cambridge B1 preliminary Tests (PET). Likewise, the researcher used a survey for students at the end of the treatment. The technique used to analyze the gathered information was the t-student test using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software (SPSS) version 22.
