Facebook, específicamente el chat (interacción virtual) reconfigura el lenguaje en un fenómeno conocido como “lenguaje del chat”. En este género discursivo se juntan características de la oralidad y de la escritura. ¿En qué medida incide este lenguaje del chat en el idioma ancestral Kichwa como parte de la identidad cultural de un pueblo autóctono? La estructura de Facebook persuade al usuario a sumarse al idioma hegemónico español. Sin embargo, no es únicamente la red la que lleva al adolescente a olvidar el kichwa, es el mismo contexto del adolescente indígena que imposibilita el aprendizaje de una lecto-escritura kichwa y por tanto el traslado del idioma a la red social. Al investigar este fenómeno como un estudio de caso en la comunidad Salasaka se concluye que la red no modifica la identidad cultural, sino que la visualiza, a la vez que los elementos de la identidad cultural se adaptan a la red.ABSTRACT Teenagers life fluctuate between two spheres physical and virtual facebook, specifyc the chat ( interaction virtual) resets the language in a phenomenon known as “ chat language “in this new discurse gender oral writing characteristics are joined. ¿ in what measure this language of the chat in the ancestral language kichwa as part of the cultural identity of a native town ?
