A comprehensive diagnostic was conducted, encompassing market analysis, a technical study, organizational structure analysis, and a financial evaluation of the project. The market analysis revealed strong product acceptance and unmet demand relative to the current supply, presenting a favorable opportunity to enter the market. Furthermore, clear consumer preferences regarding service, quality, and price were observed, which helps to properly focus on the business proposal. In the technical and organizational aspects, the essential material, human, and operational resources for efficient operation were determined. Various locations were analyzed, and the most suitable option was selected, considering customer traffic, accessibility, and surrounding conditions. The financial evaluation yielded favorable results, demonstrating that the project is profitable and recovers the investment within a reasonable timeframe, with indicators that support its economic viability.Este estudio examina la viabilidad de abrir una nueva sucursal del restaurante “Los Pollos del Vecino” en la parroquia de Santa Rosa, en el cantón Ambato. Se realizó un diagnóstico completo que abarca el análisis de mercado, el estudio técnico, la estructura organizacional y la evaluación financiera del proyecto. El análisis de mercado mostró una fuerte aceptación del producto y una demanda insatisfecha ante la oferta actual, lo que representa una oportunidad favorable para ingresar al mercado. Además, se observaron preferencias definidas de los consumidores respecto al servicio, la calidad y el precio, lo que ayuda a enfocar correctamente la propuesta comercial. En los ámbitos técnico y organizacional, se determinaron los recursos materiales, humanos y operativos indispensables para un funcionamiento eficiente. Se analizaron distintas ubicaciones y se eligió la opción más adecuada, considerando el flujo de clientes, la accesibilidad y las condiciones del entorno.
