dc.descriptionThe present investigative work focuses on investigating the contribution of children's literature in the development of the socio-emotional skills in high school students of the “La Salle” Educational Unit of the Ambato canton. The problem of this research focused on the development of socio-emotional skills, with the main objective being to investigate the contribution of children's literature in the development of socio-emotional skills of the “La Salle” Educational Unit. For this, two relevant variables were analyzed, the first was children's literature and the second was socio-emotional skills. The methodology used was a qualitative research approach, with an exploratory and descriptive level of study, using bibliographic, documentary and field resources to understand the current state of children's literature in the institution. The techniques used were interview and observation and as instruments an interview script and an observation sheet were used, applied to a population of 25 boys and girls and 2 teachers from the institution. As a result, it was observed that children's literature favors creativity, communication, teamwork and conflict resolution, each story has illustrations, group activities and games that focus on strengthening socio-emotional skills.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo investigativo se enfoca en investigar el aporte de la literatura infantil en el desarrollo de las habilidades socioemocionales en los estudiantes de preparatoria de la Unidad Educativa “La Salle” del cantón Ambato. El problema de esta investigación se enfocó en el desarrollo de las habilidades socioemocionales, siendo el objetivo principal investigar el aporte de la literatura infantil en el desarrollo de las habilidades socioemocionales de la Unidad Educativa “La Salle”. Para ello se analizaron dos variables relevantes, la primera fue la literatura infantil y la segunda las habilidades socioemocionales. La metodología que se utilizó un enfoque de investigación cualitativa, con un nivel de estudio exploratorio y descriptivo, utilizando recursos bibliográficos, documentales y de campo para comprender el estado actual de la literatura infantil en la institución. Las técnicas empleadas fueron la entrevista y la observación y como instrumentos se utilizó un guion de entrevista y una ficha de observación, aplicadas a una población de 25 niños y niñas y a 2 docentes de la institución. Como resultado, se observó que la literatura infantil favorece en la creatividad, la comunicación, el trabajo en equipo y la resolución de conflictos, cada cuento cuenta con ilustraciones, actividades grupales y juegos que se enfocan al fortalecimiento de las habilidades socioemocionaleses_ES
