Diseño modular para exposiciones itinerantes de artes plásticas en la ciudad de Ambato

Abstract

The purpose of this integrative project is the modular design in itinerant exhibitions performed in museums and cultural centers that are in heritage houses of Ambato city, which have the target of encouraging all generations to appreciate the plastic arts with respect, valuating the creativity and skill of the artist expressing through his/her artworks messages that must be understood by the spectators. The exhibitions of plastic arts have lost power over the years and currently a typical atmosphere has been created which has provoked the disinterest of the spectator and the demotivation of the artist at presenting his/her artworks. Therefore, the project focuses on social awareness using a method to expose the plastic arts which allows the correct artistic appreciation, providing the opportunity for future generations to get immersed and interested in itinerant art exhibitions to understand the message that the artist wishes to transmit. Knowing the main aspects that protrude Ambato city from its history, progress and traditions, a concept is applied to strengthen the knowledge of the plastic arts through itinerant exhibitions which connect a heritage space and the possibility of creating a new interior atmosphere without intervening directly on these spaces.
