Abstract: The present research seeks to build positive perceptions of Cannabis natural medicine through branding and value strategies in the current environment, a problem that has been present over time because its value, benefits and risks are not known. These debates have been mainly due to politics, religion and current social problems due to the immaturity and irresponsibility in their consumption. At present in many countries, they have legalized Cannabis as a therapeutic medicine for catastrophic diseases or incurable conditions with which palliative therapies are required, currently on the market there is cannabidiol oil (CBD), a drug that is obtained under a prescription for therapeutic purposes or food supplement, however in Ecuador this type of product is not very noticeable since the production, processing and commercialization of Cannabis as medicine is not yet normalized, due to the fact that it is still seen as a threat due to consumption. premature and the absence of truthful information of the product like medicine. Therefore, the importance of the correct use of branding, to influence the change in perception in this case about this plant, cannabis, demonstrating that an identity and the construction of a solid and well-established brand can transform erroneous ideas into knowledge and truthful information that will open the doors for many enterprises, companies, industries and pharmaceutical centers that will promote different products from the use of this medicinal plant and thus benefit health, reduce aggressiveness, benefit legal trade and reduce the black market or contraband .
Description: La presente investigación busca construir percepciones positivas de la medicina natural Cannabis a través del branding y estrategias de valor en el entorno actual, un problema que ha estado presente en el transcurso del tiempo debido a que no se conoce su valor, sus beneficios y riesgos, estos debates se han dado principalmente por política, religión y problemas sociales actuales por parte de la inmadurez e irresponsabilidad en su consumo. En la actualidad en muchos países, han legalizado el Cannabis como medicina terapéutica para enfermedades catastróficas o padecimientos incurables con los que se requiere terapias paliativas, actualmente en el mercado existe el aceite de cannabidiol (CBD), un medicamentó que se lo consigue bajo receta médica con fines terapéuticos o suplemento alimentario, sin embargo en el Ecuador no es muy notable este tipo de productos ya que aún no se normaliza la producción, procesamiento y comercialización de la Cannabis como medicina, por el hecho de aun verlo como una amenaza por el consumo prematuro y la ausencia de información verídica del producto como medicina. Por ello la importancia que aporta el correcto uso del branding, para influir en el cambio de percepción en este caso sobre esta planta, el cannabis, demostrando que una identidad y la construcción de una marca sólida y bien establecida puede transformar ideas erróneas a conocimiento e información verídica lo que abrirá las puertas para muchos emprendimientos, empresas, industrias y centros farmacéuticos que propiciarán diferentes productos a partir del uso de esta planta medicinal y así beneficiar la salud, disminuir la agresividad, beneficiar al comercio legal y disminuir el mercado negro o contrabando.
